Nieser Argentina S.A. has been one of Moba’s agents in Latin America for many years. Thanks to this cooperation, Moba is able to provide all its customers in Latin America with the service and support they need. This cooperation offers great opportunities for both companies. A great example of this is the trip Mr. Agustin Niell took with several customers from Latin America to Moba’s headquarters.
“The trip was a great idea of Mr. Fons Visschers (Moba’s Regional Director Latin America)”, Agustin explains. “We always try to do this kind of trip with customers who are seeking more background information. Every now and then, we invite the son or daughter too, who will become the decision maker for the family company in the near future. Especially if we notice that they are a little hesitant or sceptical about taking over the management of an existing farm. These trips inspire them and they come back thinking they are the key to transforming their companies.”
Latam customers are always looking for innovations in Europe and America.
The visit to Moba’s headquarters included a tour of the company and a presentation by Mr. Paul Buisman, Product Management Director, about the latest developments in the egg market and the challenges our Latam customers face now and in the future. Mr. Agustin: “Both the Latam egg grading as the egg packaging market is growing. Latam customers are always looking for innovations in Europe and America. They don’t have the same resources as the companies in those countries, so it all comes down to great management.”
There was also an opportunity for the customers to share their stories, explain how the trip to Holland had enhanced their knowledge and tell us how Moba can support them in the future. They were fascinated by the many possibilities offered by Moba’s egg graders. With Moba’s individual egg handling it is possible to register every detail of a single egg. That is still very uncommon in Latin America. Agustin also gained valuable insights from the trip: “I have more knowledge about Moba’s latest innovations, the importance of shell quality and the possibilities of the iMoba platforms.”
