The past two decades have been all about continuously developing the company and growing closer to our customers. Moba has been a huge support in this process by sharing knowledge and experience to help our customers thrive.

Part of the Moba family

Maganas Engineering, located in Kalamos, Greece, has been in the egg industry for 23 years. Mr. John Maganas is the founder of the company. He had years of experience in the egg industry as a Service Manager before starting his own company. A few years after it was established, Maganas Engineering joined forces with the Moba Group and became Moba’s agent in South-East Europe, as well as assisting Moba when needed with customers in the Middle East. Mr. Maganas speaks of twenty terrific years: "The past two decades have been all about continuously developing the company and growing closer to our customers. Moba has been a huge support in this process by sharing knowledge and experience to help our customers thrive."

This year, Moba and Maganas Engineering are celebrating 20 years of cooperation. Mr. Maganas is very pleased with the partnership and the communication with the Moba team in particular. "Moba is structured in such a way that it makes it easy for us to work with all the departments, from Sales to Service. Even after more than seventy years in the egg industry and the continuous growth of the company, as well as the number of its employees, it still feels like one Moba-family. It is a real pleasure to work with these people and I am looking forward to facing the challenging egg industry together with Moba for many years to come."

Mr. Maganas is proud of how his company supports its customers. "We are side by side with our customers seven days a week when they need us. Therefore, as our market has grown in the last few years, I have added another member to the team to help the customers with spare parts and after-sales service in general. In the near future, I hope a Field Engineer will join the team as well. We strive to offer our customers the best service possible and we are always finding ways to improve our service department."

Thanks to the cooperation with Moba, Mr. Maganas acknowledges that his company has made huge steps forward. "Being the face of Moba in this region has opened many doors for us. Our customers are familiar with Moba as the world leader in the egg grading and packaging industry and they recognize the high-quality equipment and the top-support they receive."

 Our challenge is that we always need to find the best solution for every customer based on their individual needs.

Next step

The egg industry is constantly in development and Mr. Maganas sees an important next step for his customers in South-East Europe. "In the past few years our customers have chosen automation more often because finding staff has become difficult in this region. With more automation, less manpower is needed to do the same job. I believe that in the future more egg producers in this region will choose to commit to automation. Our challenge is that we always need to find the best solution for every customer based on their individual needs. A process that takes a lot of effort but is completely worth it because satisfied and returning customers is our biggest reward."
