For many decades Moba had been represented in France through agencies supported by Moba’s headquarters. As France is one of the leading egg producing countries of Europe, Moba recognized the importance of local presence. To serve our customers in the best way possible, Moba opened a Moba France SAS office. In September of this year, this office located in Plérin celebrated its one-year anniversary. This first year has been
very intense for Moba France while the customers had to adapt to the new
organization, however, with the help and understanding of many the Moba France
team has turned it into a success.

We have been working together for over a year now and I have to say that my team has performed above expectation and has shown to be committed to our mission.
Building a team
Opening a new office comes with a lot of inevitable challenges. The priority for Mrs. Céline Rousseau, General Manager of Moba France, was to create a strong team and to implement a similar structure as the other Moba offices: "We strived to build a team of dedicated professionals, who can provide after-sales service and can serve our customers in the best way possible as can be expected from Moba. Some of our employees are fairly new to the business and started this year. You will agree this is never an easy job but especially difficult during Covid-19! However, they accepted the challenge and showed to be very involved, eager to learn and committed to helping our customers. We have been working together for over a year now and I have to say that my team has performed above expectation and has shown to be committed to our mission. It has been a real team effort, from building up a strong organization to setting up an office and spare part warehouse in France but we have taken up this challenge with the support of our Dutch colleagues."
"Now, Moba France consists of 14 employees and we will continue to grow in 2021 to further strengthen our presence in France. Throughout our first year, we received more and more positive feedback from customers on our ability to provide service and spare parts, giving us confidence for the future."
We are happy that we could continue to service loyal Moba customers with new grading machines but also are very proud to welcome several new customers, even replacing a grading machine from another brand.
Eventful first year
No one could have predicted the outbreak of Covid-19 and the measures that are needed to control this pandemic. Céline explains that the Moba France team quickly adapted to these uncertain times: "The safety of our customers and employees always comes first. That is why we immediately took several precautionary actions to guarantee the health and safety of our customers, employees, agents and communities during these times. By doing so, we maintain to be able to continue our service level."
Despite the Covid-19 crisis, Moba France installed several Mopack Farmpackers, many with a M'Eggbot palletizing system. Additionally, a number of Omnia grading and packing machines were also installed, with capacities ranging from 60,000 to 126,000 eggs per hour. "We are happy that we could continue to service loyal Moba customers with new grading machines but also are very proud to welcome several new customers, even replacing a grading machine from another brand. And we already have more projects planned for 2021, with the installations of several new graders in France and the Dom-Tom (overseas areas). However, we are always looking for ways to improve by updating our spare parts stock, expanding our knowledge and gaining more experience. We are ready for this challenge in 2021 and are confident that the future of Moba France is looking bright.”
