Ultra Filtration UF is an egg white concentration process used before drying during egg whites powder production.
Egg whites are approximately 11% DM (Dry Matter), which could be concentrated to 22%, reducing volumes by 1/2.
For example: if you have 3,000 l/h egg whites, you can extract 1,500 l/h of water by the UF (Ultra Filtration) and then 1,500 liters/h of egg whites can be sent to the dryer.
